We Chose Matching Vibrations on the Same Day. How Embarrassing.

invite them in; they already match beliefs.

The other day felt ‘off’. Nothing felt like me. I walked into my mansion, tracked mud across the hardwood floor, opened the fridge door without washing my hands, and had a swig of chocolate almond milk straight from the carton.

It was delicious.

I think. But I didn’t notice the deliciousness of what I was experiencing then. I was oblivious to everything except to how discordant and out-of-sync I felt with my life… I was distracted by thoughts of something I didn’t want. I didn’t like how I felt while thinking this thought and the thoughts that branched out from this one thought, and yet I did it anyway. Like a perverse tendency to aim for the only tree on a country road, I watched the unwanted image disturb my pristine countryside as it flipped over and over again in my mind. Very strange.

So then I read this by Abraham-Hicks on love and relationships, and now my life is a joy for all eternity!

Kidding. The answer is simple, and the process is simple, as long as I apply it. Using the ol’ emotional guidance system: I pay attention to my feelings and select thoughts that feel progressively better, and soon I’m allowing more and more of my connection to source, allowing my connection to me, letting go of resistance. Being me feels good.

(But I bet that if you walked around in public wearing a shirt that read, “It’s good to be me,” you wouldn’t be feeling so great about it at the end of the day….)

Matching the vibration of what I experience to the vibration of my beliefs (the thoughts I keep thinking) is the sole task of The Law of Attraction. It specializes in matching. That’s it. It doesn’t do a background check to see if you really do have reason to have a wonderful relationship, great friends, confidence galore and resources (sustainable) to fulfill your every whim. The Law of Attraction responds only to your vibration, and matches it with stuff that resonates with what you’re sending out. That’s it. If you feel like you are healthy and excited about your life.. then guess what?! Your experiences will match those beliefs.

The tough part is in ignoring your current reality and leading the expansion of consciousness by creating what you want by keeping your thoughts on what you want and knowing you can have it. It’s not easy to feel positive when you don’t see any reason to believe you’ll get what you’re wanting. It’s not easy to be assured that your life is created first in thought and that what you see right now has no creative power. What you see right now has been prepaved by your past thoughts; you are the creator choosing what to experience, so expect good things now. Just because you can!

My job is to become a vibrational match for what I want by thinking and feeling as I would think and feel and be and do and have, when I’m where I want to be. The science of deliberate creation is the art of allowing my connection to me/source energy by being, doing and having what feels good to me.

How do I know when I’m connected to pure allowing?

Thank you emotional guidance system.

It’s a neverending process; living moment by moment, bringing my desires into vibrational harmony with my beliefs. When I feel not so good, that’s great, because I know that I’m at that moment thinking thoughts that are not in vibrational harmony with what I desire. It’s a fun process! Life, woohoo. I especially like knowing that nothing can come into my experience without my inviting it first, in thought.

Nothing can come to you without your invitation; you invite by the law of attraction / resonance; the law of attraction matches your vibration.

So… my experiences are like vampires that I must invite before they can enter my home. They are always out there waiting for my word; all I have to do is ask (by thinking of what I want) and then allow them in (by believing that vampires are possible and expecting their arrival.)

That last paragraph is a wonderful example of a really bad analogy. I know I’ve learned something.

I love smoothies. If you enjoy this site (or if you despise it and want me to pack up and go do something else), be a smoothie and donate today to my smoothie foundation. All contributions ($3, $17, $68?!) appreciated and applied to this site or some other exciting endeavour in the form of smoothie-powered focus. Thanks.
